IAM Identity Center permission set grants administrative access

What this check finds
An IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO) permission set carries AdministratorAccess or equivalent unrestricted access. Unlike a hand-attached admin policy this is centrally governed and federated, so it is often intentional — but it is still a full-account admin path, and anyone assigned to the permission set inherits it. Review who is assigned and whether MFA is enforced on the identity source.
Passing looks like: No admin IAM Identity Center permission set.
How to fix it
Review the assignments on this permission set and remove any that do not need full administrative access; prefer narrower, job-scoped permission sets. Enforce MFA at the identity source.
AWS console
IAM Identity Center → Permission sets → select set → AWS accounts / Assignments.
Compliance controls it is evidence for
A failing result counts against these controls in KloudLytics; a passing one is evidence towards them. How compliance mapping works

Checked on every scan
KloudLytics runs this check each time it scans a connected AWS account, through a read-only role, and lists every affected resource with its region. On Pro and Business a fix is written for the specific resource rather than the general case above. The exact access it needs
