CERTIFICATE_EXPIRING_7_DAYS

What this check finds

This ACM certificate will expire in 7 days or less. Expiry causes immediate HTTPS outages for any service using this certificate (CloudFront, ALB, API Gateway, etc.).

Passing looks like: No certificate expiring within 7 days.

How to fix it

Renew immediately. For ACM-managed certificates, request a renewal: aws acm renew-certificate --certificate-arn ARN. For imported certificates, upload a new certificate before expiry.

AWS console

ACM → Certificates → select cert → Renew.

Compliance controls it is evidence for

A failing result counts against these controls in KloudLytics; a passing one is evidence towards them. How compliance mapping works

Checked on every scan

KloudLytics runs this check each time it scans a connected AWS account, through a read-only role, and lists every affected resource with its region. On Pro and Business a fix is written for the specific resource rather than the general case above. The exact access it needs
